The Silk Road stands as one of the most significant trade routes, linking the Far East with the Western world. This collection of studies delves into the textiles associated with the Silk Road.Within the fourth volume of "The Artistic Traditions of Non-European Cultures," fifteen insightful articles are showcased. These contributions originated from the international conference "Textiles of the Silk Road. Design and Decorative Techniques: From Far East to Europe," orchestrated by the Krakow Branch of the Polish Institute of World Art Studies alongside the Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology.
